Privacy Policy

This is a small website for the books of Jonathan Brooks. It collects as little as possible. Here is exactly what happens.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address, but only if you type them into the worksheet signup form.
- Anonymous usage data about how the site is used: pages viewed, which worksheets get downloaded, roughly where in the world visitors are, and what kind of device they use.
We do not collect payment details, we never ask for an address or phone number, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Why we collect it
Your email is used to send you the free worksheets and occasional messages about the book. Nothing else. Usage data is used to work out which worksheets are actually useful and whether the site is doing its job.
Who else sees it
- Kit (kit.com) stores the mailing list and sends the emails.
- Google Analytics processes the anonymous usage data. Advertising features, ad personalization, and Google Signals are all switched off.
- Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
Your email address is never sold, rented, or traded. Ever.
A note about age
The book is written for teenagers, but this signup form is meant for adults. Please do not enter an email address here if you are under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and it will be deleted straight away.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a cookie to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. That is the only cookie on this site. No advertising cookies are set.
Your choices
- Leave the list at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out.
- Ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it. Email us and it will be handled.
- Opt out of analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
